Ritchie joins ISA staff full time

ISA’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Mary Ritchie has joined the association in a full-time staff position. As director of membership services, she will work closely with executive vice president John Buckley on new member recruitment, membership service programs and non-convention meeting arrangements.

“When I began working for ISA in 2004, I recognized early on that ISA members know they can come to Mary whenever they have a question or are looking for information from the association,” Buckley says. “She is well-liked and respected by ISA members and I am confident that she will make a positive contribution to the association in her role as director of membership services."

Buckley adds that the membership service area is broad in its reach and is the essence of the value ISA provides its membership. “Mary’s supervision and management of many of these services will strengthen our ability to be more in tuned with member needs and support our ability to respond to those needs,” he says.

Ritchie was previously employed by the former Industrial Distribution Association in Atlanta for 19 years, and served as an independent consultant to ISA following the merger of I.D.A. and ISMA in 2004.

“I am thrilled to have this opportunity to continue my involvement with the people in the industrial supply channel that I have come to know over the years,” Ritchie says. “I am excited to belong to an association that has so much to offer its members, and I look forward to helping ISA grow into an even more meaningful force in the industrial supply channel in the years ahead.”
