2011 American Eagle Award Winners Named

The Industrial Supply Association recognized three companies with American Eagle Awards at the 2011 ISA Product Show & Conference in Rosemont, Ill. on May 15, 2011.

2011 American Eagle AwardsValue-Added Partner
Widia Products Group of Latrobe, Pa., and Ron Wallace & Associates of Clover, S.C., received the American Eagle Value-Added Partner Award for their efforts to enable Exactech, a medical products manufacturer, to save significant time and money. Through coordinated effort and information gathering, Widia and Ron Wallace & Associates developed custom end mills that resulted in half the cycle time and double the tool life. Producing more parts faster with longer tool life saved the customer more than $353,000 in annual costs.

Corporate Citizenship
CMT of Greenville, S.C., earned the Corporate Citizenship Award for its support of Greenville Connect's Boxes of Love Thanksgiving outreach program. Each year, CMT's warehouse is reorganized into an assembly line that produces thousands of Thanksgiving meal boxes for disadvantaged families in the Greenville community. In addition to the generous donation by CMT of the facility and equipment, employees and their spouses donate their time in activities that include planning, receiving products for the boxes, assembling and distributing the Thanksgiving boxes.
