THE 2010 EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION STUDY
There's still time to participate. The deadline has been extended to March 15.
One of the major challenges facing business owners in today’s economy is in providing a fair and adequate compensation and benefits package for employees. If the package is insufficient, the company cannot attract and keep qualified personnel. If the package is too generous, profit tends to suffer. How does your company’s employee compensation package stack up in the industry?
In trying to establish a sound compensation system, managers are continually looking for benchmarks. That is why ISA has joined 35 other distribution organizations representing over 2,500 firms in co-sponsoring the largest cross-industry compensation survey ever conducted.
With such a large-scale study, ISA distributors will receive a wealth of information as both Volume I and Volume II will include two types of data: compensation levels by position and fringe benefits.
Compensation—the compensation data will be broken out into three components by position—base salary, bonus and total compensation. The positions to be covered include:
Fringe Benefit Programs—this section will review the benefit programs provided by distributors. Topics of interest will include:
THE POWER OF A CROSS-INDUSTRY STUDY
Volume I – The Detailed ISA Report: will focus on the data collected for ISA distributors as a group. You will be able to compare your compensation levels and benefit programs to other ISA distributors.
Volume II – The Cross-Industry Report: aggregates the results from all 35 distribution groups which enables an in-depth examination of the data by both geographic area and firm sales size.
VALUE-ADDED MEMBERSHIP BENEFIT
ALL members of ISA will receive a complimentary copy of Volume I – The Detailed ISA Report as a value-added benefit of membership. In addition, all participating companies will also receive a complimentary copy of Volume II – The Cross-Industry Report. Non-participants may purchase Volume II at a nominal fee of $75.00.
CONFIDENTIALITY
To guarantee complete confidentiality of your company’s data, all responses will be sent directly to and compiled by Profit Planning Group, an outside organization that specializes in survey research. Only the aggregate results of the survey will be released.
