Gary L. Buffington Memorial Scholarship

With the blessing and active involvement of the Buffington family, the ISA Educational Foundation will award a $10,000 annual industry scholarship as a memorial to I.D.A.’s beloved Executive Vice President, Gary L. Buffington, and his three decades of service and leadership to the industrial distribution channel. It is now ISA’s steadfast commitment to pay fitting tribute to the man who provided guidance, wisdom and assistance to so many in this industry.

This scholarship will be awarded each year to a rising senior in an established college or university industrial distribution program. The recipient will embody Gary’s ideals of high educational performance, leadership, and community service.

ISA will actively promote the program to ensure that the Gary L. Buffington Scholarship remains a high profile industry source of educational funding for years to come. With your help, we are confident this award will be available for generations to come.

ISA members who wish to support the scholarship program can make a donation to the ISA Educational Foundation and indicate that the donation is for the Gary L. Buffington Memorial Scholarship.
