How did you get started in our industry?

I started as a temp working as a Customer Care Agent with ORS.  I spent several years working my way up in the Customer Care Leadership roles, then moved into eCommerce 8 years ago.

Why did you want to join Women In Industry?

I joined Women in Industry because supporting and empowering women has always been a passion of mine. I’ve helped start women’s groups in several companies, so finding a community that truly understands our challenges felt like the perfect fit. I’m excited to help build stronger connections—and honestly, I joined because when I met the group, I thought, “Ah, yes, these are my people.” No explanations needed.

What do you love about industrial distribution?

The people.  We have some quirky, unique, encouraging, frustrating, educational, and joyful souls within our industry.  I love dealing with each and every one of them!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love to read and explore any area with water involved (beaches, rivers, ponds, mud puddles).

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I’ve survived nearly every natural disaster—volcanoes, mudslides, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, blizzards, grassfires—and even a plane crash landing nearby. But give me five minutes on a dance floor in Memphis, and I’m limping.  My ankle is still offended!
