Nice to Meet You, Britney!
Britney Angulo | Solutions Coordinator, Stellar Industrial Supply

Name: Britney Angulo
Location: Albany, Oregon
Company: Stellar Industrial Supply
Years in the industry: 14 years
Years as a WII Member: About 5 years. My first WII meetup was virtual during COVID
How did you get started in our industry?
My aunt, Rene Savage, has been with Stellar for 34 years, and I always admired how great of a company it was. When it came time to find a job after high school, I applied for a part-time position in Accounting. It quickly became clear that Stellar was a place where I wanted to build my career and I have held positions in the warehouse, customer service, and now our shared services team. Over the years, I’ve grown both personally and professionally within the company.
Why did you want to join Women in Industry?
Once again, I was inspired by my aunt, Rene Savage, along with Molly Langdon. Seeing how much they benefited from building relationships within WII was motivating. I admired how they not only gained valuable insights from the WII community but also contributed by giving back. Joining WII felt like a natural next step for me to grow and connect.
What do you like best about WII?
The energy at the fall summit is incredible. Being in a room filled with such amazing women from our industry—supporting and building each other up—always leaves me inspired and energized. I also love the opportunity to connect with people I wouldn’t normally encounter in my day-to-day work and to learn different approaches to handling challenges.
What else would you like to see from WII?
I envision continued expansion of the WII Summit and see untapped opportunities to engage professionals beyond ISA-affiliated companies. Inspired by the broader impact of women in manufacturing and distribution, I hope to build bridges that bring more voices into the conversation—potentially creating pathways for industry professionals like my mother, who works at a non-ISA company, to participate and contribute. Additionally, while we currently welcome men at our sessions, I see an opportunity to grow their participation further by fostering deeper allyship partnerships. By actively engaging male allies as advocates and collaborators, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment that drives meaningful progress for women in the industry.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring a variety of crafts, including making blankets, sublimation projects, macramé, and occasionally painting. I also love spending quality time with my kids, especially when trying out new recipes—though they might say they’re my unofficial taste testers!
What is a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that my family refers to me as their “Musical Google.” I have a knack for identifying the name of a song or its artist based on just a hum or a few partial lyrics. It’s become a fun family tradition for them to test my musical memory, and I enjoy the challenge!
What book have you read recently that you love?
Most of my reading time is spent diving into romance-fantasy novels—my guilty pleasure—but for something more workplace appropriate, a read that I revisited was The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. It’s such a timeless guide for building habits that create both personal and professional success.
