Industry veteran brings two decades of global sales, marketing, and channel leadership to ISA’s governing board
The Industrial Supply Association (ISA), the national trade association serving the full maintenance, repair, operations, and production (MROP) supply channel, today announced the appointment of Dan Furrow to its Board of Directors.
Furrow is senior vice president and general manager of Wesco’s Electrical & Electronic Solutions (EES) business. He leads the company’s U.S. industrial, EES global accounts, and EES international utility businesses, overseeing some of the company’s largest and most complex customer relationships.
Furrow joins the board as ISA continues to expand its leadership team in support of the association’s members and its 120+ year mission of strengthening the industrial supply channel.
Since joining Wesco in 2005, Furrow has held leadership positions in marketing, category management and sales, giving him deep insight into channel value propositions, customer needs, supplier relationships and vertical markets—perspectives that will benefit ISA’s board and member community. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing from Northern Illinois University.
“Furrow brings a rare combination of global perspective and hands-on customer expertise to our board,” said Brendan Breen, ISA’s president and CEO. “His work leading complex accounts across multiple markets gives him a firsthand understanding of what it takes to succeed in this channel, on both the supplier and customer side, and that insight will be a real asset as ISA continues to grow and serve our members.”
“This industry has given me so much over the course of my career, and joining ISA’s board is a chance to give back to it,” Furrow said. “I look forward to putting my experience to work for the association, helping strengthen the MROP channel and the members who depend on it.”
Furrow’s appointment also reflects ISA’s ongoing commitment to bringing diverse industry expertise to its board as the association continues to serve manufacturers, distributors, industrial manufacturers’ reps and service providers across the MROP channel.
