Members can even fund their Fall Summit registration with an ISA Scholarship
August 12, 2022 – Each year the ISA Foundation awards up to seven scholarships to member company employees for the purpose of furthering their education and advancing their influence within the industrial supply channel. Recipients may use scholarships to fund their enrollment in university or community college degree programs, certification courses, technical training programs, or any other industrial channel skill development program that improves the individual’s career.
The Foundation awards two levels of scholarships based on the cost of an individual’s educational pursuit. The Gary L. Buffington Memorial Scholarship is awarded to two individuals for up to $5,000 each and is reserved for more costly educational needs. For less costly educational needs, the Allan W. Chartier Memorial Scholarship is awarded to five individuals for up to $1,000 each. In the past, recipients have used their scholarships to complete MBA programs, Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programs, and a wide variety of industry-related certification and education programs.
This year, recipients of the Allan W. Chartier Memorial Scholarship can use the funds to pay for ISA Fall Summit registration fees. ISA’s upcoming Fall Summit is an incredible industry-specific professional development and networking event happening November 30 – December 2, 2022, in Orlando, FL. At Fall Summit, attendees will learn about relevant industry topics from influential speakers, participate in networking events with channel peers, and will leave with actionable take-aways geared toward growth and productivity. Fall Summit is an excellent opportunity for member company employees to grow professionally, build relationships, and advance their careers.
Scholarships are exclusively awarded to employees of ISA member companies that are in good standing, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. The ISA Foundation encourages member companies to match a portion of the scholarship awarded to demonstrate the connection between ISA and its member companies on the importance of continued education and development for its employees.
