Charlotte, NC – Vallen Distribution Inc., a leader in integrated supply, indirect industrial supply chain solutions, safety and metalworking solutions, has promoted Sonia Timmons to Senior Vice President, Finance. She serves on Vallen’s executive leadership team, reporting to CFO James Melton.
As Senior Vice President of Finance, Timmons is responsible for strategic leadership of financial operations. She joined the Vallen organization in 2007, and during her tenure she has participated in multiple mergers and acquisitions, driving forward the mission and vision of Vallen.
“Sonia has brought a robust financial acumen to her role, strengthening Vallen’s position in the market through reporting, planning and forecasting,” said CEO Chuck Delph. “In addition, she lives our core values through her leadership in our DEI efforts and community engagement.”
Timmons’ professional credentials include an MBA; Bachelors in Accounting and Finance; and she is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). Timmons also serves on ISA’s Women in Industry Leadership Committee.
