Honoring the former Industrial Distribution Association (I.D.A.) Executive Vice-President, Gary L. Buffington, this $10,000 scholarship is sponsored by the Industrial Supply Association’s (ISA) Foundation and is offered annually to a rising senior majoring in a baccalaureate degree program that supports a career in industrial supply.
Who Should Apply
- Children or grandchildren of an employee of an Industrial Supply Association (ISA) member firm who is enrolled in a qualifying baccalaureate degree program that supports a career in the industrial supply channel.
- Students who are a rising senior enrolled in an industrial distribution program with a major of Industrial Distribution or its qualified equivalent.
The ISA Foundation created the Allan W. Chartier Professional Development Scholarship in honor of the former Foundation and association chairman. Each year, four $1,000 scholarships are awarded to ISA member company employees for the continued educational and professional development. These programs may include enrollment in a university, community college, technical training or any other certified skill development program. More than one person per company is eligible to win.
