A new collaboration between the Industrial Supply Association and industry veteran John Gunderson (Channel Marketing Group)
The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) is proud to announce John Gunderson as the Editorial Director – Industrial Supply Trends (IST). In this role, John will lead the creation of thought leadership content, industry insights, and strategic analysis on IST to help ISA members stay informed and ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving market.
Industrial Supply Trends serves as a dedicated resource for professionals across the channel, providing original articles, expert interviews, market trend breakdowns, and actionable guidance on today’s most pressing topics, including sales strategy, digital transformation, channel alignment, economic shifts, and workforce challenges.
John brings a wealth of experience to the position, having spent over 30 years in the industrial and construction distribution markets. His career includes leadership roles in channel strategy, sales, and marketing at companies such as Crescent Electric Supply Company, HD Supply Power Solutions, White Cap Construction Supply, Anixter/WESCO, and EIS-Inc. More recently, John served as Vice President at MDM, where he played a key role in driving industry research and content.
